Our Client Hospital is a modern state-of-the-art 896 bed (inclusive of 170 day beds) Joint Commission International Accredited (JCIA) academic medical facility located in Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia. The hospital is the national referral centre for Oncology, Organ Transplantation, Cardiovascular Diseases, Neurosciences and Genetic Diseases. A full range of tertiary, secondary and primary health care services are provided. The hospital's postgraduate education programs support both Residency and Fellowship training. The hospital's Research Centre focuses on basic and translational research primarily in cancer, cardiovascular diseases, transplant immunology, genetics, molecular diagnostics and proteomics.

It is managed according to JCAHO standards. The JCIA is the world premier healthcare-accrediting agency based in Chicago, Illinois.

The Hospital and Research Centre has a total staff of 6,946, comprising 63 different nationalities.

Oncology Nursing

PALLIATIVE CARE AND MEDICINE (F2-II)

Both adult and pediatric patients admitted to the unit, who are in need of acute aggressive symptom management, respite and terminal care. In addition, F2-2 has 7 Medicine beds.

Frequent Procedures/Services/Functions
- Medication delivery including radiation administration and management
- Patient/family education
- 12 lead EKG
- Patient assessment and evaluation
- Blood products administration
- Management of artificial airways
- Chest tube management
- Oxygen therapy and pulse oximetry
- Central IV line management
- Maintenance of skin integrity
- Pain management including epidural pain management
- Palliative Radiation therapy management
- Bereavement care
- Spiritual care
- Emotional support
- Wound care
- Ostomy care
- Family Conferences

Essential 2 years post registration experience in an acute setting.

Requirements

Registered Nurse with current nursing license from country of origin

Two years recent acute care nursing experience
