Scope of Service: Pediatric Stem Cell Transp lant/Hematology/Oncology/Allergy/Immunology (B-3)

Hours of Operation:
24 hours per day, 7 days a week

No. of Beds: 34 beds
14 beds - Stem Cell Transplant
10 beds - Hematology/Oncology
10 beds - Allergy/Immunology

B-3 is a pediatric unit providing comprehensive 24 hour nursing care to infants and children less than 14 years of age. The Unit consists of 34 single patient rooms: 18 rooms with laminar flow and HEPA filtration, 14 standard rooms and 2 negative pressure rooms. The most commonly treated conditions include but not limited to the following:
* Leukemia
* Lymphoma
* Hematological diseases
* Non-malignant diseases
* Solid tumors
* Immunodeficiency disorders

Requirements

Requirements
* Registered Nurse with current nursing license from country of origin
* Two years recent acute care nursing experience in Pediatric Hematology/ BMT
