Job description / Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory Lawyer to join our prestigious international law firm in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, particularly in the context of Saudi Arabian law and international standards. This role presents a unique opportunity to work on complex regulatory matters, providing strategic guidance to clients across various sectors, including finance, healthcare, and energy. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team, contributing to high-profile cases and helping clients navigate the challenges of regulatory compliance in a rapidly evolving legal landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on regulatory compliance matters to clients across various industries, including financial services, healthcare, and energy.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on relevant laws, regulations, and policies to ensure clients remain compliant with local and international standards.
- Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and regulatory submissions.
- Represent clients in regulatory investigations, hearings, and disputes, providing strategic legal support throughout the process.
- Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Stay abreast of changes in regulatory frameworks and industry best practices, ensuring the firm’s knowledge base is up-to-date.
- Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops for clients on regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
- Assist in business development initiatives, including preparing proposals and participating in client pitches.
- Mentor and support junior lawyers and interns, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
- Law degree from a recognized institution, with a strong academic background in regulatory law and compliance.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience working as a regulatory lawyer, ideally within an international law firm or a similar environment.
- In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, with experience in international regulatory standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex regulations and articulate legal concepts to clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic is highly preferred, with excellent writing and verbal communication skills in both languages.
- A proactive attitude with a strong commitment to client service and professional development.
- Membership in relevant legal associations or bar councils is a plus.
Salary:
SAR
28,000 to 40,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel.
Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-led approach, meaning a search firm will be paid a retainer fee upfront to carry out analyse the marketplace and benchmark for skills/roles and salaries.
A search firm will tend to have extensive knowledge of and access to board directors and senior executives across industries and functions, allowing them to build a large pool of top executive talent
