Boeing Research & Technology (BR&T) represented in Saudi Arabia by Global Technology is offering a three month Internship opportunity for talented and motivated current graduate Saudi national student. This position requires a graduate degree in aerospace related technology with an ability to understand technology evaluation, applicability, and maturity.

The selected candidate will work effectively and cooperatively from the Boeing office at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) with fellow employees, peers from other teams and/or parts of the organization and occasionally external customers.

Serves under supervision for three months within the occupation and skill area that directly relates to their college engineering degree. The main theme of this position is to assist in managing, developing and executing current and new research projects at KAUST. In addition, the ideal candidate will assist in the development and integration of BR&T research portfolio, technology strategies, and support close coordination with Boeing’s scientists and researchers from Boeing US and international Research Centers to assist with the flawless execution of KAUST researcher projects.

This position will be part of Boeing International. This requisition is for an international, locally hired position in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Pursuant to Council of Ministers Resolution No. 50, dated 21/4/1415H (September 27, 1994) regarding Saudization, this position currently can be filled only by a Saudi national. Benefits and pay will be determined at the local level and are not part of the Boeing U.S. based payroll, and will be commensurate with experience and qualifications and in accordance with applicable KSA law.

Requirements

- Be working towards a degree, or equivalent, in the physical sciences, computer science or engineering
- Excellent communications skills
- Be innovative and lateral in thought, a solutions thinker
- A self-starter who consistently demonstrates natural motivation to undertake further learning and self-directed improvement in order to grow their analytical and problem solving skills in an intellectually challenging, project driven and often unstructured Research and Development (R&D) environment.
- Ability to work well in a small, highly motivated and competitive team environment
- The ability to analyze, problem solve and develop objective, efficient and innovative solutions to customer requirements.
- Confident ability to take a leadership role and work well in a small, highly motivated and competitive team environment
