Revit Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Revit Technicians to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the engineering, architectural, and project management sectors, contributing to the design and development of innovative projects. The Revit Technician will utilize their expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create detailed and accurate 3D models, ensuring that our projects are delivered efficiently and to the highest standards. This role demands a strong understanding of architectural and engineering principles, along with proficiency in Revit software, to effectively collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain accurate Revit models for architectural, structural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) designs.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand project requirements and implement design changes as necessary.
- Prepare detailed drawings, plans, and specifications using Revit, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Conduct quality checks on models and drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness, addressing any discrepancies promptly.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of design documentation.
- Support the project team in BIM coordination meetings, providing insights and feedback on design and model integration.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and software updates related to Revit and BIM technologies.
- Provide training and support to junior team members in using Revit software and understanding BIM processes.
- Participate in site visits and inspections to gain a better understanding of project constraints and requirements.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of workflows and processes related to Revit and BIM within the organization.

- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Revit Technician within the engineering or architectural industry.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit and other relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, Navisworks).
- Solid understanding of architectural and engineering design principles and practices.
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of local building codes and regulations relevant to architecture and engineering in Saudi Arabia is a plus.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
