Job description / Role
A leading family holding group based in Saudi Arabia is looking for a Risk Manager - Saudi National to be based in their Riyadh office.
The purpose of the role is to provide valuable support to the Management on minimizing risk and ensuring that Risk Management is integrated and by establishing an effective ERM capability that deals with risks and opportunities.
The responsibilities of the Risk Manager - Saudi National include:
* Formulation and implementation of the strategy and business plans.
* Develop the company's risk management strategy.
* Assess, identify and plan the corporate risks to eliminate/minimise risk occurrence
* Ensure consistency of risk mitigation analysis and contingency plans across departments
* Ensure development of information security and business continuity policies
* Thorough review of information security and business continuity risk mitigation analysis
* Monitoring the effective implementation of information security and business continuity mitigation plans to counter any threats successfully
* Liaise with the Internal Auditor, keeping Internal Auditor informed of management level ERM activities, findings, and mitigation progress
* Support Business Units in fulfilling their RM responsibilities and develops their RM capabilities
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.
* An MBA in Strategic Studies / Finance / Business Policy, is preferred.
* A certificate in an accredited Risk Management program is desired
* 10 years of experience gained working within a finance function.
* Fluent in Arabic and English
