Safety Engineer

Job description / Role

We are seeking a dedicated Safety Engineer to join our team in SAUDICO, Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in safety engineering and a Bachelor's degree in a related field. The Safety Engineer will be responsible for developing and implementing safety protocols to ensure a safe and secure work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries in the workplace.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential safety hazards and assess the overall safety performance of the organization.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Provide safety training and education to employees to promote a culture of safety awareness and responsibility.
- Investigate and analyze workplace incidents and accidents to identify root causes and develop preventive measures.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and technologies related to safety engineering and incorporate them into the organization's safety protocols.

- Bachelor's degree in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in safety engineering, risk management, or a related field within the industrial sector.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and mitigate potential safety hazards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and deliver safety training.
- Certification in safety engineering or relevant professional certifications would be an advantage.
- Student/ Fresh graduate - Senior Beginner - Experienced professional.
