Sales Account Manager
Location: Jeddah & Riyadh
Reports to: Business Development Manager

Job Mission:
The candidate is to identify business opportunities from existing, new customer acquisitions and where possible generate additional revenue. Ensure the organisation’s services are complying with the customer’s contract terms and quality requirements, reporting any dissatisfaction or new requirements promptly to the operations team or the GM for planning resolution actions, developing a trusted advisor relationship with customers.

Job Responsibilities:
• To advocate customer needs within the organisation and represent the company at customer meetings, keep close monitor for STR’s, Inbound, Recalled stocks & inventory reconciliation.
• Deals extensively with internal and external customers and presents information regularly to executives and customer representatives.
• Work very closely with Operation Director, Customer Service Manager, Customer Service Representatives, and Regional Warehouse Manager, Transportation Manager, and customer representatives. On call, speedy action and work under pressure is required to ensure KPIs’ achievement.
• Deputize & represents the organisation in customer meetings. Take minutes and to ensure any actions for the organisation are completed in a timely manner.
• Generate new customer base as well as develop existing customer’s revenue; Build strong relationship with customers.
• Ensure CRM is updated with the identified opportunities & outcomes.
• Review & update SLA / SOP's and the quality processes to capture business needs within the organizational vision, in line with operation requirements.
• Communicate customers’ requirements, changes, dissatisfaction, or other related information which has impact on the services delivered by organisation and/or jeopardizes customer’s service contract, to the senior management team.
• Manage the SLA and ensure all rate increases are agreed and implemented in conjunction with Finance.
• Working with the company’s operations to improve the service quality and thus customer’s satisfaction.
• Analyse market industries, customers and competitor information.
• End to end Co-packing activity process to be agreed and costed and managed with the operation team.
• Create a healthy sales pipeline to support objective achievement.
• Develop further business opportunities and work streams that generate revenue.
• Attend and manage workshops related to your customers and ensure that the CRM is updated promptly to capture opportunities.
• Manage the marketing strategy with your customers issues addressed and where possible to help them with their strategy within the Saudi Market which ultimately generates revenue for the company where possible.
• Present the services to offer solutions that meet customer’s needs.
• Work with other departments to improve level of service to reach beyond customer satisfaction and increase customer loyalty. Objectively to generate additional revenue.
• Manage existing customer’s profile proactively to develop revenue matrix (YOY Growth)/ Support YOY significant revenue increment.
• Liaise closely with the senior management team to eliminate lost customers (Revenue) and develop action and correction action plan if needed.
• Managing customer’s visits to warehouses and ensure that they are managed whilst on company’s premises.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role handling sales / contract management / account development and customer service within the logistics / supply chain / distribution sector. Experience in FMCG field is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, sea or road, including the relative costs and benefits, and excellent knowledge of freight forwarders and customs brokerage.
• Understanding the regulations of Export & Import in KSA.
• Bachelor’s degree is essential, relevant professional qualifications are a plus such as Six Sigma, Lean, CSCP, CIPS, etc.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
• Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain management.
• Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
