Job description / Role
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a key player in the mechanical and chemical supplies industry, you will be responsible for driving sales, providing technical expertise, and fostering strong relationships with clients. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering principles, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering innovative solutions to meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify new business opportunities within the mechanical and chemical supplies sector.
- Provide technical support and guidance to clients, understanding their needs and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of products to clients, showcasing their features and benefits.
- Collaborate closely with the engineering and product development teams to stay updated on product specifications, features, and improvements.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential areas for growth within the industry.
- Prepare and submit detailed sales proposals, quotations, and contracts, ensuring all technical specifications are accurately represented.
- Attend industry trade shows and networking events to promote the company’s products and services while building professional connections.
- Provide regular updates on sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts to the management team.
- Assist in the development of marketing strategies and initiatives to increase brand awareness and market penetration.
- Train and mentor junior sales staff on product knowledge and sales techniques to enhance overall team performance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience as a Sales Engineer or similar role, preferably in the mechanical and chemical supplies industry.
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of mechanical and chemical products and their applications.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Ability to analyze complex technical information and present it in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing client needs.
- Familiarity with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Willingness to travel within the region as required to meet clients and attend events.
Salary:
SAR
9,000 to 12,500
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: 21 Days Annual Leave, Yearly Round Trip Air Ticket, Commission and Transportation Allowance
