Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Build customer relationship from prospecting to closing within the assigned sales region
- Identify new prospects as well as development opportunities
- Prepare, negotiate and approve contracts for orders obtained within given directives
- Achieve performance goals
- Ensure customer inquiries / orders / complaints are promptly and satisfactorily handled
- Develop and maintain relationship with consortium partners, suppliers and internal departments
- Manage professional cooperation within the company´s regional setup as well as with the support organizations in Central Europe
- Develop and implement marketing plans, oversee the sales budget
- Collect & communicate market intelligence / competitors activities

Requirements

- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent technical background
- Detailed understanding of the power generation business as well as experience in contracting with EPCs; knowledge of motors, generators, power plants as an advantage
- Sales / marketing experience with 5 to 10 years of related experience, preferably in terms of heavy equipment projects
- Demonstrated sales success with complex sales in developed countries
- Excellent skills set referring to contract negotiation, design and legal assessment of terms and conditions, project management at the most senior level of customer
- Results driven, ability to develop and retain key business and customer relationship
- Strong networker, engaging, well introduced to the local market and within MDT
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and proactive approach combined with follow-up skills
- Sound interpersonal, presentation as well as intercultural skills and understanding
- Ability to uphold the highest ethical standards, high integrity
- Assertive, self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Fluency in English and local language
