SAP FICO Consultant

Job description / Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Consultant with 6+ years of hands-on experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling modules. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in end-to-end finance processes and the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP FICO solutions.

Key Responsibilities
• Implement, configure, and support SAP FICO modules including FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA, and CO
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
• Configure organizational structures, chart of accounts, fiscal year variants, and posting periods
• Support core finance processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, and general ledger
• Configure and support controlling components including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and profitability analysis
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities
• Perform system testing including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support
• Resolve production issues and provide ongoing system support
• Collaborate with ABAP, MM, SD, and other cross-functional teams
• Prepare and maintain functional documentation and process flows
• Participate in SAP upgrades, rollouts, and enhancement projects

• 6+ years of SAP FICO implementation and support experience
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI and CO modules
• In-depth knowledge of financial accounting and controlling processes
• Experience with integration points between FICO and MM, SD, and other SAP modules
• Ability to independently handle configurations and client discussions
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations
• Knowledge of New GL, Document Splitting, and Parallel Accounting
• Exposure to SAP Treasury, Cash Management, or BCM is a plus
• SAP FICO or S/4HANA Finance certification
