SAP PI/PO Consultant

Job description / Role

SAP PI/PO Consultant:

Have a minimum of +10 years of hands-on experience in implementing and supporting SAP/PI with Project experience in SAP PI, 7.3 is preferred. Have knowledge of Net Weaver Development Infrastructure / SLD
Have hands on experience in adapter techniques. Experience in XL sizing and message archival strategy will be advantageous.

Job specification:
•Minimum 2 Full life cycle implementation of SAP R/3 and/or SAP ECC with production support and upgrade experience.
•10 plus years integration and technical experience within SAP R/3 and/or SAP ECC related to integration/interfacing of SAP and non-SAP systems.
•Extensive experience with multiple SAP Applications including but not limited to CRM ECC.
•Coordinate and provide oversight of development resources on integrations ensuring standards and system stability are maintained throughout the SDLC process
•First hands experience on adapter techniques like JDBC, FTP, HTTP, SOAP, File and RFC
•First hands experience on Middleware and ETL. Experience in A2A, B2B and EAI Integrations.
•Must have good knowledge on Java/XSLT Mapping concepts
•Coordinate, design and implement solutions from Blueprint, Configuration, Testing and Training through post-implementation support understand and apply Project Management methodologies and procedures
•Working with functional and business teams to gather business user requirements and drive functional and technical designs
•Defining and proposing solutions options along with effort estimations to deploy SAP PI, ensure that scope of solution is manageable
•Rendering advice to senior IT management and customers on SAP PI best business practices
•Creating solution road map, integrating multiple disparate processes, and addressing short and long term organizational needs
•Research complex application integration issues with functional teams; examine integration between various systems (SAP and non-SAP) for inconsistencies, review transformation logic and propose corrective alternatives
•Deliver projects with a high degree of quality
•Work with your project team (systems analysts, developers etc.) and cross-functional project team compositions to accomplish PI development, testing and deployments
•Capable to lead creation of detailed solution documentation and presentations
•Day-to-day maintenance of production application systems
•Participating in Disaster Recovery testing to help ensure business continuance
•Provide coaching and mentoring to team members
