Overview:

Responsible for the supervision of scaffolding erected by scaffolders, inspection of scaffolds, dismantling, and familiarity with a wide range of designs and scaffolding techniques for the SATORP plant.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate with the SATORP Maintenance Supervisor, control, and supervise scaffolding activities to ensure that the work scope is completed in a safe and efficient manner.

Maintain the inventory of various types of scaffolding materials, keep records, and inform the Scaffolding Foreman accordingly.

Evaluate man-hours required to install each scaffolding activity and ensure that scaffolders meet these constraints.

Ensure certification of scaffolds by the HSE department prior to use. Develop safe work practices related to scaffolding.

Identify tools, plant, and equipment required to complete work scopes.

Check and ensure all scaffold material is in good condition and free from defects.

Responsible for carrying out site safety audits with the SATORP HSE department.

Comply with SATORP health, safety, and environment as well as work permit policies and procedures.

Possess proper knowledge about plant hazardous materials. Must be aware of HSE rules and policies of SATORP.

Ideal candidate profile:

Diploma in engineering or technical school or equivalent. Must have a strong background in mechanical or civil engineering.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in refinery maintenance, specifically in scaffolding activities.

Well organized and proactive with excellent communication skills.

Proven leadership skills within large organizations.

Maturity of judgment under pressure and ability to resolve problems.

Strategic management skills.

An ability to achieve results while working in a multi-cultural environment.

Flexibility to live and work in KSA.
