Project Scheduler and Document Controller
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Project Scheduler and Document Controller.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth project execution by effectively managing project schedules and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities
Project Scheduling
• Develop and maintain project schedules utilizing project management software Primavera P6 or MS Project
• Collaborate with project managers and teams to gather necessary information and understand project timelines and deliverables.
• Construct Work breakdown structures WBS and resource loaded schedules.
• Analyze and identify critical path activities, milestones, and dependencies.
• Monitor and update project schedules regularly, tracking progress and deviations from planned timelines.
• Anticipate and mitigate schedule risks and make recommendations for adjustments to maintain project objectives.
• Generate comprehensive reports on project scheduling status, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with multiple teams to ensure alignment of schedules and resolve scheduling conflicts.
Requirements:
Document Control
• Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for projects, ensuring the accuracy and availability of project documentation.
• Establish and implement a proper companywide document Numbering and Naming system.
• Establish and implement a companywide communication protocol, naming, and numbering system.
• Receive, review, and distribute project-related documents.
• Ensure that all project documentation is properly labeled, logged, indexed, and stored in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date document repositories, both physical and electronic, to facilitate easy retrieval and access to project documents.
• Implement version control protocols to manage revisions and updates to project documents, ensuring that the latest versions are readily available to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure proper documentation flow and adherence to document control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor document distribution and ensure that confidential or sensitive information is appropriately handled and secured.
• Conduct regular audits of project documents to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.
• Assist in the development and implementation of document control policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Provide training and support to project team members on document control processes and systems.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in document control
• Demonstrated skills in similar document control capacity.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar site based or project-based role.
• Deep working knowledge in Primavera P6 or MS Project software
Salary:
SAR
5,000 to 20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Salary depending on experience. Benefits Per Saudi labor law
