Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This position involves assisting with the development of Design and Construction schedules, analysis of baseline schedule and schedule updates, monitoring of schedule delays, tracking of contract changes, analysis of time extension requests, analysis of stage changes, analysis of value engineering impacts and analysis of claims

Reporting to: Project Manager
Duration: Permanent Position

Main responsibilities:
- Generally monitor and ensure progress
- Scheduling program of works
- Prepare Daily, Weekly, Monthly reports for submission as required by the client/Engineer
- Liaison with Client, Consultants, sub-contractors and other authorities for the purpose of Programmer / Progress issues and Attend relevant meetings
- Maintain financial awareness and control
- Provide support on contractual matters related to Prime Contract, processes, and procedures, including administration and preparation of correspondence
- Task order management
- Claims resolution
- Subcontracts review
- Above-mentioned are the responsibilities of this role but not limited to the same

Desired start date: 01/10/2016
Probation: 6 months
Working Hours: Sunday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5.30pm (indicative)
Gross monthly base salary: Negotiable
Commission / Bonus: NA

Requirements

- University Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- Should have a minimum of 5+ years’ experience including regional experience
- Specialist knowledge: Experience and proficiency in Primavera P6 & MS Projects software

Soft Skills and Personality traits:
- Job experience in Construction industry is required
- Proficient in Microsoft Application (word, excel, outlook)
- Communicates effectively both orally and on paper
- Has a systematic and methodological approach
- Be a dependable & hardworking team player

Language Fluency: English
