Overview

Aramco is currently seeking a Licensing Technology Commercialization Specialist to contribute to join Technology Oversight & Coordination (TOC), Licensing Division which is responsible for commercializing technologies that are developed by Saudi Aramco.

The Licensing Technology Commercialization Specialist's primary role is to handle all things related to technology commercialization witha specific focus on agreement negotiations, drafting and licensee compliance. The incumbent will be expected to work with multiple stake holders to understand the technology, structure bespoke commercialization deals, draft and negotiate license agreements and monitor the performance of the agreements after execution.

Duties & Responsibilities

Develop tailored monetization strategies to realize full value of our IP portfolio.

Develop a broad range of internal and external stakeholder relationships to build partnerships.

Perform comprehensive due diligence to support technology transactions to maximize value and minimize risks.

Lead negotiations, drafting and executing agreements.

Maximize value of existing license agreements by ensuring compliance of licensees, including royalty compliance and monitoring to prevent revenue leakage and regular evaluation of license agreements and licensee performance to prevent value deterioration.

Deliver regular project update briefings to senior management on progress versus plan.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science or engineering discipline, an advance degree is preferred.

Ten years of combined experience in a minimum of three of the following functions: research, development, operations, business development, intellectual property management, intellectual property transactions, consulting and finance.

Proven ability to assess IP and its impact, generate licensing opportunities, negotiate terms and execute agreements.

Experienced in IP management and transactions.

Self-starter, energetic and proactive, able to work independently and collaboratively to monetize a strong and growing portfolio of worldwide patent assets.
