Security Governance & Compliance - Consultant

Job description / Role

• Integral member of the Cyber security Advisory team, to carry out the engagements related to policy compliance, security requirements governance.
• Develop and participate in implementation of client initiatives focused on the reduction of technology risk, governance and compliance to policies and external regulatory compliance
• Developing IT security standards, procedures, and controls to manage risks.
• Improve Organization’s security positioning through process improvement, policy, automation, and the continuous evolution of capabilities.
• Experience in technology and security investigations and platform audits of both business process and technology,
• Documenting and reporting control failures and gaps to stakeholders.
• Provides remediation guidance and prepares management reports to track remediation activities
• Supporting the team members in delivery of work streams for clients in compliance standards and incident management disciplines
• Staying current on best practices and technological advancements and acts as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in IT Auditing & Assurance management, Technology Compliance, IT Governance within financial / banking sector.
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience in financial / banking sector
• Worked on GRC tools such as RSA Archer, IBM GRC etc.
• Strong understanding of Information Security Architecture and ecosystem technologies and concepts required: Firewalls, intrusion detection, monitoring tools, encryption, certificate authority, reverse proxy, etc.
