Security Guard - Saudi National

Job description / Role

The role of the Security Guard is to prevent crime and ensure the safety of occupants and protecting against any disturbances in the depot premises where they have been assigned duty.

The Security Guard will be responsible for patrolling the depot buildings to detect suspicious activity, monitor against any law violation such as theft or violence and ensure the safety of occupants.

The Security Guard may spend a considerable amount of time on their feet, assigned to a specific area or patrolling buildings and grounds.

Reports into: Regional Engineering Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of burglary, ensure security of the building and prevent against the theft or damage of physical assets
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances
- Communicates incidents and other relevant information accurately and timely to appropriate staff in person
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorised persons, or unusual occurrences
- Call police or fire departments in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorised persons
- Prepare daily reports regarding the activities and any disturbances such as unauthorised entry of individuals or property damage

JOB SCOPE AND DIMENSIONS:
Territory: Dammam
Hours: 48 hours per week, 8am – 4pm
Work Schedule: Saturday – Thursday

Requirements

- A high school qualification
- Previous experience in a security or similar role
- Good level of written & verbal English
- Good level of physical fitness including – hearing, vision with the ability to walk around and sit for long periods of time

DESIRABLE
- Ability to complete basic data entry into computer systems
