The Senior Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting month-end and year-end closing processes. The role plays a key part in maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal policies while contributing to the overall financial integrity of the organization.

Description

* Handle day-to-day accounting activities including journal entries, account reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
* Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
* Support the month-end and year-end closing process and ensure timely reporting.
* Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
* Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required documentation during audits.
* Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Collaborate with finance and business teams to support financial analysis and reporting needs.
* Continuously identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and drive efficiencies.
