Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Provide inputs to Director Asset Management in the annual budgeting process;
- Manage allocated assets like hospitality on behalf of company to ensure that the prescribed guidelines agreed by the management is adhered to by both parties;
- Provide inputs to the development team to ensure assets are designed as per market's needs and to maximize profitability;
- Supervise operators during development, pre -opening and operations;
- Review, approve and monitor budgets and KPI's submitted by operators;
- Review and approve all outsourced suppliers as per the delegation of authorities ensuring adherence to management guidelines, prescribed processes and also quality requirements of the suppliers;
- Manage actively assigned portfolio by creating synergies between assets and maximize assets value;
- Coordinate with other asset managers to get their inputs when required
- Develop and implement entire range of contract formation, negotiation and administration policies and processes in accordance with organizational objectives and customer expectations;
- Monitor all aspects of contract execution / administration and identify deviations from terms and conditions of contract / contract management processes and report the same to the Director Asset Management & the Head of the concerned department; initiate corrective action in order to protect the organization's interests;
- Ensure development of vendors and/or service providers' databases for major categories of materials and services, including introduction of suitable mechanisms for appraising the vendors or service providers' performances;
- Prepare weekly, monthly and annual reports as per requirement and submit the same to Director Asset Management for further submission to Chief Portfolio Officer and CEO;
- Maintain an open channel of communication with the operators to ensure that any feedback regarding optimization of the design may be discussed and if found relevant be taken up for further approvals for implementation;

Requirements

- University Qualifications: Preferably with Finance/Accounting background
- Nature and length of previous experience: Must have a strong background in handling Hospitality portfolio.
- Minimum of 10 years experience in GCC/MENA region.
- Must have done Hospitality projects.
- Specialist knowledge: Asset Management
- Hospitality Portfolio
- Nationality Preference: Any GCC/MENA candidates
- Language Fluency: Arabic, English
