Senior Associate - Corporate Lawyer

A very interesting role has arisen to work for one of the region's top tier firm's, within their Riyadh Office. The firm has a very large presence across the Middle East Region and is one of the most reputable brands, appearing top tier in many practice areas including Corporate.

At this time, they are currently looking to hire a Senior Associate to work in a lead role within the Corporate practice. My client already boasts a healthy book of business in the Riyadh market, and are looking to hire an experienced and entrepreneurial lawyer who can continue to build on this. The candidate should speak fluent English, be Western (Common Law) trained and qualified, and have the ability to work with autonomy. In addition to having extensive experience practising non-contentious corporate commercial law matters, the successful candidate should also possess excellent relationship development and management skills, as well as be a keen business developer and networker.

Summary:

The firm's Corporate Commercial Practice is the largest and most comprehensive in the region with over 40 specialist lawyers advising on a wide range of matters relating to mergers and acquisitions, commercial advice and agreements, corporate structuring and regulatory advice, capital markets/IPOs, family business structures and corporate governance. Their clients include global corporations, GCC listed and private corporations, governmental authorities, business enterprises, private equity firms and financial institutions. Their strength lies in the depth of their understanding and knowledge of the local legal and regulatory environment which, when coupled with the delivery of their advice in line with international legal standards, enables them to provide the most cost-effective, practical and commercial advice whilst ensuring legal objectives are also met.

Requirements

• Western jurisdiction/Common law qualified
• Minimum of 8 years PQE
• Extensive experience in practising non-contentious Corporate/Commercial law
• Native/Fluent English language skills
• Excellent Business development and networking skills
• Ability to work with autonomy and develop a market leading practice
