Employment: Full Time

Analysis and execution of public market investment opportunities outside of the MENA region, covering both direct investments and fund investments.

A global leading Financial Services entity that operates as regulator, catalyst and operator within the Saudi Government.

Description

* Analysis and execution of public market investment opportunities outside of the MENA region
* Covering both direct investments and fund investments
* Involvement in all aspects of the investment process
* Monitoring markets, preparing research reports, and generating investment/trade ideas
* Contributing to the evaluation and screening of investment opportunities, including assessment of industry, geography, business models, financial statements, valuations, and other fundamental and technical data
* Contributing to development and analysis of financial models
* Creation of investment committee materials
* Presenting investment materials to relevant committees for approval
* Coordination of due-diligence process and investment execution
* Construction, monitoring and ongoing evaluation and analysis of portfolio investments, including P&L analysis and risk management
* Managing relationships with third party managers, advisors, and banks
* Overseeing Associates and Analysts supporting in the above work-streams
* International travel as required

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree from top-tier university in Finance, Economics, Engineering or Business from top tier university; Master's degree and CFA a plus
* Minimum 6 years of relevant work experience (portfolio management, investment research, fund selection, investment banking or similar) at top firm
* Professional experience in New York, London, or other developed markets
* Exposure to range of public market asset classes (public equity, fixed income, currencies, derivatives, etc.)
* Previous experience with the assessment and management of overall portfolio exposures
* Advanced analytical capabilities including creating, calculating and interpreting complex financial models - DCF, NPV, IRR etc
* Good team player with a high level of initiative, resourcefulness, and high standard of work
* Self-starter with ability to work independently with external partners and consultants
* Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured and dynamic environment with significant deal flow
* Experience in leading and managing teams
* Good report writing in English as well as strong presentation and communication skills
