Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Commissioning Engineer / Manager to lead and execute commissioning activities for complex projects. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in overseeing the entire commissioning lifecycle, from planning and strategy development to final handover, ensuring meticulous attention to technical excellence, safety, and compliance.
Responsibilities:
• Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive commissioning strategies tailored to project complexities and client expectations
• Ensure meticulous oversight of installation, testing, and validation processes to achieve full compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Establish robust cross-functional communication and coordination with project managers, design engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration.
• Provide expert technical oversight, troubleshooting, and guidance throughout the commissioning lifecycle.
• Stay updated on the latest industry standards, technologies, and best practices and implement identified opportunities for process improvements.
• Implement stringent quality control measures and conduct audits to verify adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Proactively identify and assess potential commissioning risks, implementing robust safety measures to mitigate hazards and protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
• Provide comprehensive training and support to operational staff and clients, empowering them to effectively operate and maintain systems.
• Create and maintain meticulous commissioning documentation, including plans, procedures, test reports, and as-built drawings.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Management, or relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in commissioning engineering or similar leadership role responsible for defining and managing project scope, timelines, profitability, and effective delivery of products or services.
• Strong knowledge of commissioning processes, industry standards, and regulations.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Additional certifications in GSAS CGP, and LEED GA are desirable.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to relocate, if required.
• Must have a Valid SCE Membership ( Professional or Consultant ).
• Must have a Valid and Transferable Iqama (if non-Saudi).
