Senior Construction Manager – Geotechnical

Job description / Role

One of the most researched projects underway in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Major Port & Marine Project Valued at $800 Million USD.

Reporting directly into the Project Director .

Taking full responsibility for a Team of 5 Construction Managers on site. At present 1400 manpower and this will peak at 2200 at the peak.

You will be responsible for the coordination and delivery on site . Taking control of the short term and medium plans on site, ensuring that resources are performing and allocated correctly to hit program. You will be pushing and driving the best standards of excellence.

• Track, monitor & review performances and outputs
• Manage sub-contractors & supply chain
• Remove obstacles to ensure all progress is made
• Present technical reports and recommendations internally and externally
• Develop method statements, strategies and technically successful approaches to hit landmarks
• Ensure top international standards for Quality, Safety & Environmental

Following is needed for a successful application

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
• 10 Years Experience on large scale $100 Million Design & Build Projects
• Clear Experience working for Global Civil Engineering Main Contractors
• 5 years’ operating at this level as a Senior Construction Manager / Deputy Project Director
• Clear management experience and success on Diaphragm Walls (Slurry), Bored Piles, Ground Investigation
• Strong communication skills and an understanding how to motivate and lead a range of nationalities and cultures on site (Not a 1 style fits all approach)
• Can you build meaningful relationships with your team, client and consultant
• Can you think outside the box, be commercially astute and ensure to protect your commercial and contractual rights in relation to the program, design and your technical obligations

Salary:
USD 8,500 to 15,833 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
