Overview

Aramco is seeking a Senior Corporate Venturing Professional to be a senior member of the global Strategic Ventures investment team, to be based in Dhahran, which develops investment recommendations and performs portfolio management. Strategic Ventures investment team interacts and works closely with regional investment teams in North America, Europe and China, and interfaces with corporate business units and global investment committees. It also leads fund-of-fund investments and direct investments outside of core geographies.

Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to development of the company's strategic venturing strategy in digital/industrial sectors.
- Interact and work with regional teams to prioritize and sense check investment opportunities which meet the company's strategic investing objectives, and develop high-quality investment recommendations that will be presented for approval to global investment committees.
- Participate, weigh-in and contribute to investment stage-gating discussions and portfolio management decision-making.
- Lead fund-of-funds investments together with the fund investment specialist for the company's strategic venturing programs.
- Lead investment opportunities that fall outside of core North America and Europe geographies.
- Provide training and mentoring to junior personnel.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements
- At least eight years' experience in venture capital or corporate venture capital or similar roles through the full lifecycle of deal sourcing, execution, investment management and exits.
- Bachelor's degree in technical disciplines, business and/or finance. Master's degree is preferred.
- Deep knowledge of the industrial/digital technology landscape.
- Track record of successful venture investments.
- International experience and cultural sensitivity.
- Experience working with both start-ups and large corporations.
