Job description / Role
• Stored Procedure Design and Troubleshooting.
• Collaborates with technical lead on custom integration.
• Design stable, reliable and effective databases
• Coordinate and work with other technical staff to develop relational databases
• Identify inefficiencies in current databases and investigate solutions
• Diagnose and resolve database access and performance issues
• Plan and coordinate data migrations between systems
• Development and maintenance of the database stored procedures, views and functions for software applications
• Produce ad-hoc queries and develop reports to support business needs
• Work closely with all developers on the best practices for application and database architecture
• Identify best practices for security and compliance requirements for database architecture
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ Experience and understand of Table/Queries Design concepts
• Understands tools used to Code and Performance Tune SQL stored procs and ad-hoc queries
• Experience with Large data sets (greater than 10 million rows)
• MS SQL Server 2016 & Higher
• Experience in conducting data analysis, complex report design/development, and developing data extracts.
• Advanced experience with database technologies such as Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services
• Strong SQL skills including complex query building and query performance tuning
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills conducive to team development
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while participating in 1-2 projects at a time and responding to changing business and technical priorities
• High level of professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality and a demonstrated initiative and positive can-do attitude
