Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Lead in the technical design management for water and utilities, including:
• Preparing and assessment of technical sections of RFP’s, Service Orders and Contracts.
• Assessment of Consultants’ capabilities & proposals.
• Managing the design procurement process, including monitoring & assessing design outputs of numerous consultants to ensure timeliness, completeness and fit against the Employer’s requirements.
• Managing stakeholder and operator inputs.
• Responding to Design and Construction RFIs.
• Ensuring quality of design, documentation and effort is maintained by the consultants
• Regular reporting on design, quality & progress against AMAALA requirements, deliverables & program.
• Processing of consultants’ payments against deliverables.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil, MEP, Hydraulic Engineering, or equivalent;
• Preferably have PMP Certification or an equivalent qualification;
• Minimum of 12 years total experience;
• A strong background in managing the delivery of infrastructure projects (minimum 10 years of experience);
• Significant track record of design management of water and utility projects;
• Middle East experience and will preferably have worked on multi-disciplinary infrastructure for development projects in the region;
• Proven success in managing multiple complex stakeholder relationships; and
• Ability to influence decisions both internally and externally.
