Job description / Role
Our client are seeking a Site Electrical Engineer. The role is based around 90 minutes from Riyadh and is a full time site based position, with accommodation provided close to site in their compound. This is working for the client, monitoring Contractors works.
The role includes the typical Electrical Engineering duties for a site based position, including:
• Carry out monitoring and surveillance of Construction Contractor's activities in respect of his engineering discipline to determine compliance with the applicable specifications, standards, codes of practice and the approved construction drawings.
• In liaison with the PM, monitor on a regular basis site progress and actual against programmed start/finish dates for activities within his engineering discipline.
• Monitor and review construction drawings, calculations and shop drawings in respect of his engineering discipline and review their incorporation into as-built records.
• To ensure adequate surveillance of the Construction Contractor's activities and verify records in respect of his engineering discipline, as and when required.
Requirements
• Must have a minimum of 7 years Electrical Engineering experience
• Must be Chartered or if a Saudi National, a member of SCE
• Single status is preferred due to the location of the role and accommodation provided
