Position: Senior Electrical Engineer
Location: Jeddah / Makkah, Saudi Arabia

About the Role:

A leading development and construction organization in Saudi Arabia is seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join their engineering team. This strategic role involves leading electrical design and execution for large-scale construction and infrastructure projects in Jeddah and Makkah, ensuring high-quality, safe, and compliant solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, planning, and implementation of electrical systems for major construction and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare, review, and approve electrical drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical documentation.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring compliance with local and international standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, mechanical, instrumentation) to ensure project integration and quality delivery.
• Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost evaluations for electrical works.
• Monitor contractor submissions, project progress, and timelines, ensuring successful project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance within the team.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 10–15 years of experience in electrical engineering within construction, infrastructure, or development projects.
• Proven experience in leading electrical design and execution for large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, LV/MV/HV systems, lighting, grounding, and protection systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, Dialux, or similar electrical design software.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
