Senior Energy Engineer
Our client is KSA based and is part of an Established Group of companies. They have multiple international strategic partners and they are currently seeking a Senior Energy Efficiency Engineer to join their team.

PURPOSE
The Senior Energy auditing/Energy Efficiency engineer will handle full energy audits and have strong knowledge of Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), Lighting system, compressed air system and control and BMS. They will be conducting full measurements using energy audit instruments, implementation, and measurements and verification (M&V) as per the international guidelines (IPMVP).

SCOPE
To develop or evaluate energy-related projects or programs to reduce energy costs or improve energy efficiency starting from initial site walk-through, conducting full measurements using energy audit instruments, conducting energy audits and identify and recommend energy savings strategies to achieve more energy-efficient operation, preparing energy audit reports (ASHRAE Level I, ASHRAE Level II and ASHRAE Level III). Conducted M&V routing jobs.

Responsibilities:
• Conducting site walk-through, ASHRAE Level I.
• Preparing energy audit proposal.
• Managing and leading projects in energy efficiency projects.
• Performing data collection, processing, and analysis needed for energy audits.
• Inspect or evaluate building envelopes, mechanical systems, electrical systems, or process systems to determine the energy consumption of each system.
• Preparing technical and financial proposals of energy related projects.
• Coordinating with the companies and partners who provide energy saving solutions and implement the Energy Saving measures (ECMs).
• Oversee installation of ECMs.
• Inspect newly installed energy-efficient equipment to ensure that it was installed properly and is performing according to specifications.
• Develop & implement Measurement & Verification plans as per the international guidelines (IPMVP).
• Excellent self-leadership, interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly adapt to change and demonstrate flexibility to a variety of schedules to meet business needs.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements:
• BSc, MCs, PhD degree in Mechanical, Electrical or a related discipline.
• 6+ years’ experience in large systems for industrial complexes.
• Strong technical background.
• Implementation of several energy projects.
• Understanding of contractual terms.
• Fair knowledge of Safety and Risk assessment.
• Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) Project execution business background.
• Fluency in English required.
• Good Knowledge of MS office (Project, Word & PPT, Excel) is required to carry out the job
• Good interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills
• Good English writing skill (proposal making, correspondence) to make comprehensive offers also verbal communication skill.
• Good Technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good Knowledge of energy simulation and lighting simulation programs.
• Good Knowledge of Building Management System.
• Certified Measurement & Verification Professional (CMVP) and Certified Energy Manager (CEM)
