Role Summary
Digital Transformation Advisory (DTA) is an integral part of GE Digital, partnering with our largest clients to define and enable insight-led digital transformation. As an Engagement Manager in our DTA practice, you will play a critical role in helping our clients tackle complex business issues. You will initiate, facilitate, and oversee high-impact management consulting engagements spanning across the industries that GE serves.

Essential Responsibilities:
- In this role, you will leverage a matrixed team to lead customers through wing-to-wing transformation engagements, focusing on people, process, leadership, technology, and vision. You will develop and deliver analytically-informed, issue-based solutions that help clients make faster, smarter decisions.
- More specifically, you will help design, define, and deliver digital strategy and transformation programs. This will include workshops delivered at the client site to support digital visioning & strategy, operating model design, and technical journey mapping to drive sustainable business value.
- You will act as the digital "value architect" for transformative opportunities, enabling an end-to-end digital journey by bringing the best of GE Digital and your industry knowledge to our clients.

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years of working experience with a focus on consulting, digital transformation, operational strategy, or related roles
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (MBA preferred)
- Must be willing to travel (up to 75%)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Ability to lead cross functional and customer / supplier teams
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Strong influencing skills in a global environment
- Able to communicate with all levels of internal and external customer organizations, including upper management

Desired Characteristics
- Significant large-scale management consulting experience
- Asset Performance Management (APM, Meridium, Smart Signal, Predix) experience a plus
- Professional Certifications PMP, CMRP, CRE, API, Risk Management, etc.

- Understands the go to market strategy and positioning of DTA services. Has industry experience relevant to understanding common challenges and realities faced by customers
- Communicates the importance of understanding customer's business strategies to become an advocate for profitability on behalf of the customer - actively reviews accounts and meets with customers
- Uncovers and articulates critical success factors necessary for the clients to acquire, implement, and utilize solutions
- Assists customer in identifying shortcomings even when they may delay a commercial decision; utilizes GE experts to propose creative ways for the customer to master the critical success factors; articulates a roadmap that provides a high likelihood of the customer realizing expected business benefits and other key stakeholders achieving desired personal success; is accountable for overall customer success
