Industrial Complex, Riyadh

The center of alfanar's industrial activities is alfanar Industrial Complex situated in the Third Industrial Zone on Al-Kharj Road, Riyadh.

Spread across 700,000 square meters, the Complex houses alfanar's facilities.

The Complex has a comprehensive infrastructure including a data and communication center as well as a commercial zone.

Job Purpose

Leading innovative research and development initiatives, driving advancements in product design, optimizing manufacturing processes, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Overseeing the development of prototypes, validating design parameters, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to the overall improvement of products and processes within the manufacturing environment.

Key Accountability Areas

Simulation and Prototyping:
- Demonstrate proficiency in conducting simulations (both static and dynamic) to validate prototypes.
- Collaborate actively with factory departments to ensure prototypes meet specified loading and stress requirements.

Design Parameter Validation:
- Determine, specify, and rigorously validate design parameters in adherence to national and international standards.

Project Collaboration:
- Engage proactively in collaborative efforts with factory departments to facilitate seamless project progress.
- Participate actively and facilitate discussions in the Product Development Process.

Product Testing and Builds:
- Effectively manage product testing programs, whether conducted in-house or through external testing laboratories.
- Skillfully plan, implement, complete, and meticulously document engineering builds.

Design Concepts and Prototypes:
- Innovate by proposing intricate and advanced design concepts.
- Provide direction and supervision in the construction of initial prototype products.

Quality Assurance:
- Verify the adherence to production, testing, and quality control procedures, ensuring flawless execution.

Type Testing and Support:
- Undertake travel for type testing purposes.
- Provide support to the electrical design team in meeting specific project requirements.
- Assist the supply chain department in the evaluation and acceptance/rejection of special bought-out parts.

Role Accountability

HR Proficiency:
- Training of sub-ordinates and forming a team to get the work effectively.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to subordinates in all aspects of their work.
- Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
- Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Delivery:
- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-Solving:
- Resolve any related problems arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Business Process Improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seeking automations opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
- Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, Safety and Environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic Qualification
- Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering

Work Experience
- 5 to 10 Years
