Senior Engineer QA/QC Switch And Socket

Job description / Role

Job purpose

To ensure the effective implementation of quality assurance and quality control processes across all production and inspection stages. The role is responsible for verifying product compliance with standards, resolving non-conformities, and driving continuous improvement in quality systems and practices.

Key accountability areas

Quality assurance and compliance
- Implement QA procedures to ensure products meet internal and external quality standards.
- Monitor compliance with ISO and customer-specific quality requirements throughout production processes.
- Conduct internal audits and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.

Inspection and quality control
- Perform and supervise in-process and final inspections to ensure product conformity.
- Review inspection records, test reports, and certificates for completeness and accuracy.
- Identify quality issues and recommend technical solutions to prevent recurrence.

Non-conformance management
- Investigate quality-related non-conformities and initiate root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain documentation for NCRs, CAPAs, and quality alerts.

Process improvement and analysis
- Analyze production data and quality trends to identify areas for improvement.
- Support implementation of quality improvement initiatives and best practices.
- Assist in process capability studies and risk assessments.

Reporting and documentation
- Prepare quality reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure proper maintenance of QA/QC documentation in line with audit requirements.
- Contribute to management reviews and quality meetings with accurate data inputs.

- Ability to obtain updated soft and technical skills related to the job.

- Perform the planned activities to meet the operational and development targets as per delivery schedules.
- Utilize resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time.
- Provide a periodic report formatted by detailing the deviation and execution of planned tasks.

Problem-solving:
- Solve any related problems that arise and escalate any complex operational issues.

Quality:
- Ensure quality requirements to develop effective quality control and processes including specifications for products or processes or related activities.

Business process improvements:
- Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, procedures, and seek automation opportunities as much as possible.

Compliance:
- Comply with related policy and procedures and work instructions.

Health, safety, and environment:
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.

Academic qualification

Bachelor degree in electrical engineering

Work experience

4 to 6 years
