Senior Engineering Manager - Utilities

Job description / Role

Randstad is supporting a leading project and construction management consultancy in the search for a Senior Engineering Manager with extensive wet & dry utilities experience (design & construction) to be based in Riyadh, KSA. This candidate will act as the expert on the project and is responsible for working with the senior management team and ensuring best practise within the infra/utilities division. The role is predominantly focus on the construction delivery stages but it is important that candidates have a strong understanding of the design process.

Key Responsibilities:

- Management of the Engineering and Design Management requirements, standards, strategies, policies, plans and processes/procedures
- Responsible for the quality and progress of the engineering function, ensuring that production requirements are to the highest standard
- Supports pre-contract and business development efforts as required, serving as technical consultant
- Recruits, interviews, and evaluates prospective employees.

Salary:
SAR 70,000 to 75,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Key requirements:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering with 15+ years experience leading multidisciplinary projects
- Extensive wet & dry construction experience
- Proven ability to manage a large group of senior technical personnel with the ability to drive best practise within the utilities team
- Excellent client facing and communications skills
