Senior Finance Manager (Arabic)

Job description / Role

Salary SAR 50k / month plus schooling, flights and health insurance

Inspire Selection is recruiting a Senior Finance Manager for our FMCG client in Jeddah.

Overseeing a finance team of 20 staff, reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for managing the day to day finance function.

Responsibilities:
- Overseeing the monthly closing process
- Contribute to annual strategic plan, budget, and staffing plan for Financial Accounts
- Ensure compliance with corporate internal control requirements
- Determine underlying business drivers and review with CFO / management, as appropriate, to drive business decisions
- Create process maps of significant financial, business and operational processes in order to recommend Opportunities for improvement.
- Monthly reporting of financial statements in accordance with the SOCPA / IFRS in order to ensure compliance with reporting timelines.
- Monitor and review accounting and related system reports for accuracy
- Analyze revenue and expenditure trends
- Prepare annual tax / Zakaath returns and ensure they are filed on time
- Liaison with internal and external auditors
- Ensure compliance to local tax requirements as well as other regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve reconciliation of suppliers’ accounts, preparation of cheques and payment vouchers

Requirements

- A minimum of 8-10 years proven successful experience in a large FMCG organization in the Gulf in a similar position.
- Previous or current experience of working in Saudi
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Arabic
- Formal accounting qualification earned from a recognized Institute (CA /CPA/ CIMA / CMA / ACCA)
- Exposure to Oracle R 12 ERP system is an advantage
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to balance commercial and control priorities
- Ability to develop strong relationships
- Able to work under pressure
- Have a flexible approach and be a confident team player
- Strong IT and systems skills (advanced Microsoft Excel)
