Senior Fire Protection Engineer (Oil & Gas / Pipeline)

Responsibilities

• Implements, modifies, and maintains the processes.
• Experience in fire water and fire protection design, especially Saudi Aramco projects.
• Design and review of fire protection and fire water as per client standards, local standards, and international standard requirements.
• Participates in planning, cost development and management, and scheduling for assigned projects.
• Maintains effective communication with project team members and with the customer.
• Has a comprehensive understanding of principles, theories, concepts, and industry practices and standards and their application.
• Supervisory and administrative responsibility over a group of engineers or functions as a technical specialist formulating and developing advanced concepts, techniques, and standards.
• Responsibilities include assuring effective utilization of engineering personnel and technical quality.
• Develops designs that require innovation and ingenuity.

Qualifications

• BSc in chemical engineering or relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• Having good design experience of fire protection systems including water systems in oil and gas and pipeline projects.
• Fully conversant with NFPA and other related industry codes.
