We are looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to be responsible for the completion of high-quality design reviews and the supervision of discipline project delivery. This position will be based in Jeddah to support one of our major on-going projects in Saudi Arabia.

Your new role, what's involved?
* Supervise site investigation contractors
* Review factual and interpretative geotechnical and geo-environmental reports
* Review and prepare specifications for Enabling, Shorting, Excavation, Dewatering, Ground improvement and Piling works required
* Undertake and review geotechnical analysis including slope stability calculations, embedded retaining and shoring wall design, pile design, ground movement assessments, evaluation of soil springs for use within structural design models and soil structure interaction
* Provide GI reports on projects as required
* Assess the Survey report from contractor
* Provide recommendation report to the Client team.

Requirements

We'd love to hear from you if you have:
* A degree qualification in Engineering or related fields.
* 15 years or more of post graduate experience
* Membership of a professional institution or working towards professional membership
* Be a registered engineer with the local municipality, or working towards this
* Knowledge of industry and regulatory codes and design standards relevant to the Geotechnical discipline.
* Knowledge of standards and practices related to geotechnical engineering in KSA
* Knowledge of construction practices and associated programme and costs
* Knowledge of ground remediation measures and ground compaction
