We are now seeking an exceptional Senior Health and Ssafety Manager to join our award winning team based at our Riyadh site.

This critical role will be responsible for e stablishing and maintaining effective operation and management of KEO's Health, Safety and Environmental Management System throughout the region. The role will be the central point within the designated geographical area to provide health and safety advice and information to KEO staff and contractors which come under the scope of KEO contracts.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include;

- Establish a working relationship, promoting and advising on H&S issues with the client, KEO site teams and contractors
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of H&S best practices and standards
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management Syetem, reviewing and recommending revisions as necessary
- Manage the H&S training needs assessment and training programme for KEO employees
- Monitor and report on the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System by KEO site teams
- Monitor and report on the standards of H&S achieved by contractors and maintain statistical data for all projects.
- Develop and implement the H&S audit program where applicable
- Ensure incident reporting & investigation is carried out effectively and immediately to determine root cause and provide recommendations/directions aimed at preventing re-occurrence.
- Review and analyse the project incident data & report to relevant parties
- Manage the activities of H&S department employees
- Carryout periodic inspections of the projects to ensure compliance & where applicable make recommendations for change

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 10 - 15 years career experience with a Bachelor degree in Engineering or equivalent.
- NEBOSH qualifications are essential.
