We are now seeking an exceptional Senior HSE Manager to join our award winning team based within our Makkah site project.

This critical role will be the central point within the designated geographical area to provide H&S advice and information to KEO staff & contractors which come under the scope of KEO contracts.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include

- Establish a working relationship, promoting and advising on H&S issues with the client, KEO site teams and contractors
- Maintain an up to date knowledge of H&S best practices and standards
- Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System, reviewing and recommending revisions as necessary
- Manage the H&S training needs assessment and training programme for KEO employees
- Monitor and report on the implementation of the Health, Safety and Environmental Management System by KEO site teams
- Monitor and report on the standards of H&S achieved by contractors and maintain statistical data for all projects.
- Develop and implement the H&S audit program where applicable
- Ensure incident reporting & investigation is carried out effectively and immediately to determine root cause and provide recommendations/directions aimed at preventing re-occurrence.
- Lead investigator for fatal incidents involving of KEO employees.
- Review and analyse the project incident data & report to relevant parties
- Manage the activities of H&S department employees
- Carryout periodic inspections of the projects to ensure compliance & where applicable make recommendations for change.

Requirements

Qualifications

- To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 15 years career experience with a Bachelor of Engineering .
- Safety certifications such as NEBOSH are required.
- Bilingual communciations skills in English and Arabic will be highly regarded and KSA Nationals are warmly encouraged to apply.
