Employment: Full Time

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Interior Design Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong creative vision, and extensive experience in interior design within the commercial and residential sectors. You will play a pivotal role in shaping interior spaces that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and sustainable while collaborating with architects, clients, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:
• Design projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with client expectations, timelines, and budgets.
• Develop innovative design concepts, space plans, and layouts prioritising functionality, aesthetics, and sustainability.
• Actively engage with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budgetary constraints, providing expert consultation throughout the design process.
• Apply technical expertise to produce detailed drawings, specifications, and 3D renderings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures, materials, and finishes that balance design aesthetics, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, and contractors to seamlessly integrate design and construction processes.
• Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any design-related issues.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and sustainable design practices, incorporating them into projects.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; a master's degree is a plus.
• 12+ years of experience in interior design, preferably within an engineering consultancy or similar environment.
• Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D rendering tools.
• Excellent understanding of materials, finishes, color theory, and furniture selection.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Creative thinker with the ability to problem-solve and innovate in design solutions.
• Knowledge of sustainable design practices and local building codes and regulations is highly desirable.
• Available to join Immediately.
• Willingness to relocate, if required.
• Must have a Valid SCE Membership (Professional or Consultant)
