Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

This opportunity is with a large group based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

As a Senior Investment Officer, you will be responsible for developing investment plan and implement strategy for assigned investment area(s). You will develop an understanding and interpreting of financial information, company accounts, statistics, economics, political events and their implications on investment decisions. You will design, implement and manage investments including investment policies, guidelines, and processes that will prudently achieve market rate of return on invested funds.

You will provide investment operational support to the management. You will monitor, analyze, and interpret investment portfolio performance evaluation report. You will develop in-depth knowledge in industrial sector or a geographical area. You should understand the strategic vision developed by the management, assess the impact and required direction in order to shape, define and establish an Investment strategy. You will analyze the financial information relating to the companies they are researching, e.g. Income statement, Balance sheet and cash flow statements. You will be responsible to prepare the feasibility studies for the identified investment opportunity. You will research and analyze investment opportunities, assist in the evaluation of economic conditions and overall portfolio positions. You will perform financial analyses, cash flow, debt and equity financial modelling, and analysis of project budgets for assets in various portfolios. You should understand the market landscape for the Investment portfolio to determine opportunities to generate additional yield or minimize investment risk. You will monitor the financial news using specialist media sources.

Requirements

To be successful, you will have minimum of 5 years of experience in Investment management with deep understanding of investment activities and fundraising best practices. You should be a Bachelor’s degree holder in Finance / Accounting, a Qualified Accountant (CFA, ACA, CA, ACCA) will be preferred.
