Job description / Role
The Package: 44k SAR + flights and medical insurance
An International Consultancy has just been awarded a Major Project in Jeddah and now requires a Senior Landscape Architect with experience on Major Master-plan Projects.
• Large infrastructure design experience from inception to completion of project
• Overseeing the design for a variety of project aspects, including urban regeneration schemes, pedestrian schemes, road or retail schemes, and maintaining the character of sites and natural beauty.
• Vast experience in design, construction supervision and execution of architectural structures and landscaping.
• Organising, coordinating and managing multiple external architectural design sub-consultants to produce high quality of work.
• Reviewing and commenting on landscape sub-consultants’ work with regards to quality, completeness and conformance with project and client requirements.
• Leading a team through all phases of design, from concepts through design development, in highly detailed design focused projects.
• Review detailed plans and working drawings, including applications, construction details, local authority regulations and specifications, appropriate use of hardscape and plant materials for the project using computer-aided design (CAD) packages or similar design software.
• Thorough understanding of the relationships between constructability and design as demonstrated by an extensive portfolio of built work.
• Hand drawing and illustration skills with the ability to produce creative, high quality work in an environment under pressure.
• Managing large, complex and high profile projects with respect to fiscal project management, timely project delivery, and developing and maintaining strong client relationships
• Monitoring and checking work on-site.
Requirements
Candidates must have 15 years post graduate experience and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture ideally with previous experience of working for a major consultant.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD, REVIT, and MS Office Suite is required.
Arabic communication skills will be viewed favourably.
