Job description / Role
Join our prestigious law firm in Riyadh as a Senior Lawyer specializing in corporate law. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned legal professional to work within a dynamic team focused on delivering top-tier legal services to our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate law, encompassing M&A, compliance, and governance, and will play a pivotal role in advising local and international businesses on complex legal issues.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage corporate legal projects and cases, providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate agreements including joint ventures, acquisitions, and shareholder agreements.
- Assist clients with corporate governance matters, compliance issues, and regulatory frameworks.
- Conduct due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, ensuring all legal aspects are thoroughly addressed.
- Represent clients in negotiations and dispute resolutions, effectively managing any litigation that arises.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and interns, fostering a collaborative work environment.
- Stay updated with the latest legal trends, regulations, and industry standards to provide informed guidance to clients.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law, with a focus on M&A and corporate governance.
- Strong knowledge of the legal landscape in Saudi Arabia and relevant international laws.
- Excellent negotiation skills and experience in drafting and reviewing legal documentation.
- Proven track record of managing complex legal projects and providing strategic legal counsel.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Ideally admitted in Saudi Arabia but if not fluency in Arabic and English is required.
- MUST be based in Saudi Arabia.
Salary:
SAR
30,000 to 50,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
