Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a leading global engineering and construction company that is looking to a hire a Senior Legal Counsel to play the lead role in relation to legal work for the business’s Saudi Arabian operations. The role would be to work closely with the senior management, legal team and stakeholders in the company in KSA and wider Middle East.

The role will be as the lead Lawyer for Saudi Arabia and can be based out of Riyadh or Al Khobar, depending on the candidate’s preference. The role will be the first point of contact for legal support, covering commercial, contractual, corporate, disputes matters relating to an engineering and construction company activities.

Requirements

The successful candidate should be a bilingual in Arabic and English legal counsel with 8 – 15 years’ experience, ideally located in KSA with market experience. The individual will have experience in engineering and construction work and becoming from either a leading in-house or Law Firm background. There is a strong preference for a KSA national for the position, but excellent bilingual candidates will also be considered.
