Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Currently looking for experienced management consultants / project managers to join our consulting team and grow our pipeline and lead the delivery of projects across the region with a focus on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role will be based in Riyadh, KSA, and the successful candidate will be reporting to one of the Service Line and Client Directors. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across all Services Lines within the company to best serve our KSA clients.

Business Responsibilities:

Expected business responsibilities include:

- Lead the establishment and build-up of KSA based Acuity consulting team
- Collaborate closely with Acuity service line leaders on client Directors on our strategy and approach to KSA market
- Collaborate closely with the other Atkins and SNC-Lavalin businesses in KSA to identify client opportunities and efficiently deliver jobs utilizing resources from across the Group
- Drive KSA win work and deliver work activities in close collaboration with Acuity client Directors
- Develop go to market strategy, approach and supporting material
- Build a pipeline of KSA Acuity opportunities
- Leverage existing network of clients and build new relationships within target market
- Recruit and manage a team of Acuity consultants matching KSA client delivery requirements
- Supervise the performance of reporting staff, providing clear direction and regular monitoring, while giving feedback and constructive criticism
- Oversee and manage the delivery of Acuity KSA client projects
- Manage and grow existing accounts demonstrating strong account management practices
- Represent Atkins Acuity in and speak at relevant seminars and conferences in KSA
- Accurately assess required level of effort for a task/project based on experience and manage, prioritise and plan what activities/tasks need to be completed in-order to meet objectives

Technical Responsibilities:

- Expected technical responsibilities include:
- Plan and execute multi-million dollar projects including multiple delivery partners
- Design and implementation of Transformation Program operating models and Transformation Program governance
- Development of benefits management frameworks and benefits mapping
- Develop enterprise risk management frameworks for Corporate Transformations
- Develop Program and Project business cases
- Design of Transformation Program including milestones, scheduling and interdependencies
- Manage deliverables within the specified time, cost and resources
- Capture data sources and provide advisory service related to dashboard and EPM development
- Capture stakeholder landscape maps and design interaction planning / training relating to capability building
- Manage sub consultants and/or subcontractors
- Present progress to Senior internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

Basic & Technical Competencies:

The basic & technical competencies include:

- Shall be qualified with a degree (preferably Business Management, Project Management or Engineering)
- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in project management, management consultancy or an advisory services capacity
- The ideal candidate should be someone who has worked in a Management Consultant capacity preferably with a Big Four Consultancy or Global strategy houses or international management consultancies in the Middle East region and with significant experience in KSA.
- Strong analytical, organizational, multi-tasking, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proven experience of planning & reporting tools, including MS Project, Primavera – P6, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
- The Candidate must possess excellent working knowledge of project management best practices
- Compliance best practices in management and improving business processes
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen related to project budgeting and cost estimation
- Self-motivated and determined to pursue continuous improvement, which is essential to processes & procedures development
- Ability to structure a large amount of information within a process framework
- Strong data management and detail oriented
- Sector exposure and experience of the following areas:
- Infrastructure development & Construction
- Transport, Logistics, and Supply Chain Management
- Public administration
- Municipal services and urban development

Knowledge and experience in the following:

- Developing standard PM methods, reporting and dashboarding structures
- Design of Target Operating Models and Program Governance
- Developing issue and change management frameworks, processes and procedures
- Transformation Program Management Framework & Process Development
- Production of Transformation Program Management Policies & Procedures
- Program Assurance reviews and support
