Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Helps clients develop sustainable compliance and risk management programs to address and prepare for an array of enterprise-wide risks
• Lead projects and provide strategic direction across the account to deliver a superior client experience
• Ensures clients are aware of their responsibilities for the engagement and appropriately manages clients against these expectations
• Ability to adopt a global approach to networking, building eminence, and assembling teams to best serve clients and maximize engagement economics
• Takes control of challenging situations and diffuses escalated situations calmly by controlling own emotions and recognizing emotions in others
• Conducts interviews with executive-level stakeholders and probes on critical areas confidently and in a professional manner
• Participates and leads aspects of the proposal development process; assembles a pursuit team with the necessary skillset and knowledge needed to prepare sales materials
• Guides client through critical decisions needed to develop a sustainable, effective vision for corporate governance
• Works with client to evaluate the impact of changes in corporate governance on existing operations, and develop mitigation plans
• Establishes qualitative and quantitative metrics to help client evaluate the success of new corporate governance initiatives
• Ability to enable boards of directors to make strategic decisions and effectively perform their oversight duties
• Acts as a trusted advisor to the Board Chair, Committee Chair or individual Board member to support them in delivering their oversight duties
• Guides client through critical decisions needed to develop a sustainable, effective vision for corporate governance
• Facilitates key stakeholder discussions and provides industry perspectives and benchmarking data to help client define strategies to enable achievement of corporate governance vision
• Consults client on Board and management governance industry perspectives, solutions, and benchmarking data to enable attainment of corporate governance vision
• Works with client to evaluate the impact of changes in corporate governance on existing operations, and develop mitigation plans
• Establishes qualitative and quantitative metrics to help client evaluate the success of new corporate governance initiatives

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience
• An advanced degree in the area of specialization
• A willingness to travel 80 - 100% of the time
• Business development experience and high comfort level meeting with and presenting to CxO and VP levels
• Demonstrated experience in business process improvement, leveraging Human Capital Transformation
• Competencies required in one or more of the following areas: Organization Design, Talent Management or Human Resources Transformation
• Experience managing large, complex projects with 12+ resources within a consulting environment, with a vendor or within an enterprise IT team
