Senior Manager - Enterprise Information Security Risk

Job description / Role

- Develop performance objectives in coordination with Directorate and continuously conduct progress towards Departmental and strategic objectives and implement periodic performance reports to offer evaluation results and recommend improvements
- Implement improvements to policies and procedures in order to deliver high-quality services
- Carry-out the day-to-day operations, offer expertise, encourage teamwork and coordinate work processes to achieve high performance standards, meet established targets and engage employee
- Develops and maintains the information security risk management framework/ methodology with alignment Organization’s enterprise risk management framework.
- Plan and coordinate the information security risk assessments and continuously update the information security risk register.
- Monitor and report on information security risk mitigation plans to ensure timely execution
- Review and report on vendor/third party risk to support vendor risk management activities
- Engage employees in the management of information security risk and ensure they are aware of their accountabilities with regard to information security risk management
- Develop and motivate staff, conduct the performance, give formal and informal feedback and appraisals and conduct guidance on training programs to maximize employees' performance

Requirements

- Bachelor / Master Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology or equivalent
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience with at least 5 years in a similar role.
- Management level experiences in Information Security Risk
- Must have Certification in Risk (CRISC or Equivalent)
