This Senior Manager, Global Marketing – Saudi Arabia is a Long Term Assignment to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for up to 3 years. This senior manager is responsible for BDS sales and marketing efforts in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. Based in Saudi Arabia, the position serves as a senior BDS Global Sales & Marketing manager and directly leads a team of marketing & sales professionals. The role also supports Global Sales leaders based in the U.S. on a number of important BDS pursuits in the Middle East.

The Boeing Company has continued to expand the company's international footprint. One of the biggest growth areas is in Saudi Arabia. This position will lead the Global Marketing team in Saudi Arabia. It is a strategic role and the leader will be working closely with the VP of GS&S for Saudi Arabia to set direction for BDS in this market. By focusing on growth in Saudi and executing on current commitments this position will help BDS meet LRBP commitments and assure BDS executes on current and future Saudi sales and maintaining/enhancing relationships with our customers to assure continued growth.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a track record of excellent customer engagement and relationship development, in particular, knowledge and understanding of the defense customers in the Middle East as well as related stakeholders in the U.S. Government. The senior manager must be highly skilled at understanding customer needs, communicating them in an effective manner to a diverse set of Boeing stakeholders, and working closely with Boeing business leaders to appropriately address them.

Relocation benefits from the base work location (or current living location) to the international location will be provided. This will also include repatriation benefits to the last base work location or to employees’ new base work location.

Requirements

The position requires knowledge of the defense acquisition processes of the customers. Working knowledge of local languages is not required but desired. The position requires the incumbent to represent Boeing in public forums and a wide array of diverse industry and government activities. As a result, strong communication skills are required as well as an understanding of aerospace & defense industry dynamics.

The position reports to the VP Global Marketing, who in turn reports to the Sr. Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing. The ability to successfully coordinate with Boeing colleagues across cultural, geographical, and organizational boundaries is critical. Should have experience in International Global Sales & Marketing (Business Development).

- This position requires an active (or ability to obtain) U.S. Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
- Must be able to obtain work visa depending on requirements of the country.
- Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country as applicable.
- The employment will be contingent on the candidate’s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country.
- Since you may be placed on an international assignment, your offer is contingent upon your ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa/work permit to the country in which you will be assigned. These clearances are also a contingency for any family members who may be relocating with you.
