Position summary
The manager – health, safety & environment leads the integrated HSE and environmental governance program for Qiddiya Workers Villages.
Key purpose of the role
To ensure safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible operations through strong HSE governance and regulatory compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement HSE and environmental management systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, inspections, and audits.
- Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi HSE and environmental regulations.
- Oversee environmental controls and sustainability initiatives.
- Maintain training and certification compliance.
- Coordinate emergency preparedness and drills.
Key deliverables & accountabilities
- Approved HSE and environmental frameworks.
- Incident investigation reports and closures.
- Environmental compliance records.
- Emergency response plans and drills.
- HSE KPI dashboards and reports.
KPIs / performance metrics
- LTIFR / TRIR trend.
- Environmental audit score.
- Corrective action closure rate.
- Training compliance rate.
- Environmental incident rate.
Required qualifications & certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HSE, environmental science, or engineering.
- NEBOSH, IOSH, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, or equivalent certifications preferred.
Experience requirements
- Minimum 6 years of HSE and environmental experience.
- At least 3 years in a managerial role.

- Promote a safety-first culture across teams and service providers.
- Ensure staff and contractors adhere to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
