Senior Manager - IT Operations - KSA National

The primary purpose of the role is to ensure the quality and availability of IT support and services delivered to the business from the IT Operation.

Description

* Implement ITIL processes for Incident and Request Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Asset Management and Performance Management.
* Create effective and efficient operations at the IT Service Desk to ensure 100% capture of all end user request and incidents as the basis for delivering quality support in adherence to the policies.
* Lead team of support personnel in delivery of quality service against agreed SLAs.
* Implement continual service improvement programmes to drive down costs and optimise resource utilisation and excel in service quality.
* Ensure optimal utilisation of IT resources, both hardware, software and personnel, for maximising the returns on the investment in technology by the business.
* Effectively manage vendor contracts for support and services to ensure quality and timely delivery of contracted services.
* Plan and design to ensure adequate scalability of services to meet current business needs and growth projections and business goals.
* Plan and implement measures to ensure continuity of services in event of disaster/loss of key personnel.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or related subject.
* Relevant professional certifications, of diploma level of relevant functional areas.
* A minimum of 5 years of experience managing an IT Service Operation.
* Ability to lead and drive the set up of a top-class IT Service Operation.
